Face Illustration Project
Illustrator Self Portrait
This small project's goal was to get a better feel for creating actual illustrations with illustrator. Although the process simply involved tracing an existing image, choosing the colors and areas proved to be less simple. The end result takes some liberties with color and moves away from a recreation.
ReedKeep
This app design project started with one goal in mind - functionality. A niche area for an app design idea that was influenced by my personal life was organizing reeds - this proved to be the direction I ended up taking this project in. Woodwind instruments such as saxophones and clarinets rely on reeds to produce sound. These reeds soften over time, producing an emptier tone. Most musicians use multiple reeds at a time, which makes keeping track of them a hassle that could easily be addressed by an app. ReedKeep provides a virtual space to organize and track the use of reeds for single-reed instrumentalists.

Games to Play 2020
These 18 designs are a collection of works churned out under the general instructions of “make logo designs.” These were made through working on/off (~once a week) for about 2 months. Thus, they vary greatly in terms of form and style and capture a wide variety of designs. All of the individual logos designs were placed on the same mockup for presentation purposes, and the final 2 designs serve as posters to advertise them. Due to the variety of the designs, the title was based more on the individual poster design - “Games to Play”. However, the title also carries the carefree feeling of allowing oneself to freely follow their own creativity (which encapsulates these 16 designs quite well), so the title was extended to not only the poster but the entire project as well.
